GRE Provides a simple interface through which dApp and web3 entrepreneurs can safely meet all their cross-chain needs.

  • GRE Labs aims to create a pathway and platform for proper communication between separate blockchain networks. As part of this communication, blockchain networks will be able to share assets, states, liquidity, and more.

GRE Labs runs an Ultra-light Node (ULN) and leverages the ability of a Decentralized Oracle Network (DON) to connect a decentralized application to the outside world in synergy with Relayers to transfer information between two endpoints.

Core Capabilities of GRE Labs

GRE supports three main functions: Arbitrary messaging refers to the ability to send arbitrary data (encoded as bytes) to a receiving smart contract on a different blockchain. Developers are free to encode any data they wish to send.

Typically, developers use arbitrary messaging to trigger informed actions of receiving smart contracts, such as rebalancing indexes, casting specific NFTS, or calling arbitrary functions using the sent data as custom parameters.

Developers can encode multiple instructions in a single message, allowing them to orchestrate complex, multi-step, multi-chain tasks. Token transfer: You can transfer tokens to a smart contract or directly to an EOA (externally owned account) on a different blockchain.

Programmable token transfer is the ability to simultaneously transfer tokens and arbitrary data (encoded as bytes) in a single transaction. The mechanism allows users to transfer tokens and send instructions about what to do with them.

Application developers can take advantage of the strengths and benefits of different chains.

Expand With GRE Labs

Defense-in-depth security

Powered by Chainlink’s industry-standard oracle networks. GRE also features additional layers of protection via the Risk Management Network and transfer rate limits.

Reliable transaction execution

A transaction price is quoted on the source chain via a gas-locked fee payment mechanism that confirms execution regardless of destination chain gas spikes and network congestion.

Simplified token transfers

Seamlessly scale your userbase and benefit from enhanced token composability by securely transferring tokens across chains in a fraction of the time it would take to build a custom solution.
